Classifieds poem

“WHOEVER’S found out what location
compassion (heart’s imagination)
can be contacted at these days,
is herewith urged to name the place;
and sing about it in full voice,
and dance like crazy and rejoice
beneath the frail birch that appears
to be upon the verge of tears.”

~ Wislawa Szymborska ~
(Poems New and Collected 1957-1997,
trans. by S. Baranczak and C. Cavanagh)

Witnessing
prayer/chant video

Witnessing can bring us home!

Witnessing is one of InterPlay’s central acts.
We can do it even when we feel lousy.
With easy focus release your obligation to the “other.”
Take a moment to take in something you enjoy.
—this InterPlayer, someone or something nearby.
This is what it is like to find compassion.

Witness a prayer, (gift of Rajiv Naidu, therapist and InterPlayer in India. At the end he describes how the chant came to him.)

Take another deep breath. Reward yourself by savoring the goodness.

Dance on Behalf of Compassion
movement

Raise a hand in blessing and listen to Dance Our Lives by Trish Watts. Do a dance on behalf of compassion for yourself or another.

Take a deep breath and let it out with a sigh.
