Take a deep breath and let it out with a sigh…

Life might as well be an opera. Over 30 members of the Opera Company of Philadelphia Chorus converged on the Reading Terminal Market Italian Festival in ordinary street clothes. Hundreds of delighted onlookers found themselves in the midst of an opera.

Fake Opera ala InterPlay:

Good for exformation. Good to change the mood! Good for communicating about serious subjects, of course.

Take a deep breath and let it out with a sigh
Take a deep breath and on a long exhale let your face and voice squirm around.
For ten seconds squirm your voice with a high pitch. (fake soprano)
For ten seconds squirm your voice with low sounds. (fake bass)

Ready to try ten seconds of Fake Opera?

Take any insane, romantic, overly dramatic, or completely mundane situation in life and sing about it in a dramatic voice for up to ten seconds. This is more fun if you have an audience.
(Even Opera Guys like fake opera.)

Raise a hand in blessing

Raise a hand to dance the opera of connection with players worldwide while the conductor of Verdi’s La Traviata-Overture creates exquisite music for this moment.

Take a deep breath and let it out with a sigh.

this was all so cool! I loved the opera in the REading Terminal. The people’s faces were so much fun. They were just so full of joy and awe! The guy doing fake opera! So cool, and then Magic, my big fluffy cat, and I danced to the Verdi. We both loved it.
